nerves v1.16.0 Release Notes

  • 🚀 This is a major update to Buildroot 2021.05. Please review the Buildroot release notification below in addition to the following.

    🏗 1. The wpa_supplicant options in Buildroot changed. If you're using vintage_net_wifi, you'll need to make sure that the control interface is enabled now. Add the following to your nerves_defconfig:

       BR2_PACKAGE_WPA_SUPPLICANT_CTRL_IFACE=y

      • Build Nerves on RISC-V platforms. RISC-V is not officially supported, but experiments are ongoing as low cost hardware becomes available.
